GROB Systems to Host Medical Technology Day on October 29th

Attendees to See 5-Axis Medical Parts Machined Live, Consult Technical Expert Panel, and More.

Bluffton, OH – GROB Systems, Inc., a global leader in the development of manufacturing systems and machine tools, has announced it will be hosting a Medical Technology Day, together with industry partners OPEN MIND Technologies, Seco, Third Wave Systems and Ecoclean at GROB’s North America headquarters and production facility in Bluffton, Ohio on October 29th, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.

The special one-day event will feature live machining demonstrations on the high precision GROB G150 5-Axis Universal Machining Center featuring medical applications such as a titanium bone plate and cobalt chrome knee femoral. OPEN MIND Technologies will provide advanced hyperMILL^® CAM programming strategies, and Seco will utilize and demonstrate a range of high-performance end mills designed for cutting tough materials and complex parts. Third Wave Systems will participate in the event by analyzing tool paths via its machining modeling solution. Also, Ecoclean will highlight its medical equipment cleaning process and capabilities. In addition, a live interactive “Technical Talk” will be held where attendees can discuss unique medical application manufacturing challenges with engineers and product specialists from GROB, OPEN MIND Technologies, Seco, Third Wave Systems and Ecoclean.

A tour will also be offered of the GROB 400,000 sq. ft. facility which features the vertically integrated manufacturing of machining centers and automation.
