PENTACUT – Wide Forming Inserts
PENTACUT Wide is a large width of cut forming inserts for special profiles providing high repeatability, stability and accuracy. A smart clamping mechanism holds the insert with high clamp forces to prevent movement when in cut. The clamping mechanism is also very simple allowing for quick index. Pinpointed coolant is directed under the cutting edge to get close to the point of cut allowing for heat reduction and improved lubricity. Insert can be custom ground to part form. 5 cutting edges makes this insert very economical over single edge form inserts.
LOGIQ6TURN
Turning insert with 6 positive cutting edges for semi-finishing and finishing. The high positive top rake allows for a mechanically efficient cut reducing cutting forces and requiring low power consumption. This insert is a potential replacement for a CNMG insert allowing for an increase in cutting edges from 4 to 6 for lower cost per edge. Cutting action allows for reduced burr on machined part. Can use on Steel, Stainless Steel and Titanium materials.
Quick I Groove
Innovative 4 cutting edge precision ground insert for internal grooving and turning. The same insert can be mounted on a right hand or left hand tool. Insert index is highly accurate and repeatable due to location pad placement in the pocket area. The insert is highly stable in cut.
Fast connections for SUMOCHAM drills
Iscar SumoCham replaceable head drills from diameter 0.157” to 0.409” are available with Iscar’s Multi-Master threaded connection. This connection allows for easy, quick, precise drill replacement saving set-up time and also reducing machine downtime. No need to preset. Screw on and screw off to accurately replace because of threaded connection with face contact. Through coolant too ensure good chip evacuation, reduce heat and improve lubricity at cutting edge. Perfect connection for Swiss style machines.
Multi-Function Tool for Drilling and Milling
Iscar QUICKDMILL offers combined functions of drilling and milling into one cutter. The insert has a clever design allowing for 4 cutting edges for both the inboard and outboard stations. The cutting edge is designed to offer efficient cut, extending tool life and creating a ‘smooth cut’. The insert pocket has a dovetail configuration to capture the insert assuring high reliability tightly.
Drill with replaceable head locking mechanism
Iscar QUICKDRILL is a variation of the popular SumoCham drilling line that adds a side locking screw for unstable conditions. QuickDrill drilling heads have a side lock feature, that upon side screw engagement, prevents the drill head from rotating under severe unstable cutting conditions. The drill body is available in 3XD and 5XD lengths and from ½” up to 1” diameters.
A 3 edge multidirectional turning insert
Iscar QuickTLock is a highly versatile insert to allow turning in multiple directions. Pocket design employs Iscar’s ‘safe-T-lock’ clamping to prevent any insert movement in the pocket when changing direction of cut. The new Y-AXIS holders allow for insert stability while under high machining forces without vibration or chatter.
High Precision 2 cutting edge insert for swiss type machines
Iscar Quick2Cut uses a tangentially mounted insert that has 2 cutting edges. The tangential insert mount design increases stability of the insert under load allowing for very precise cuts and excellent repeatability when indexing the insert. The toolholder has through coolant capability to increase tool life and produce an excellent surface finish.
