Royal Products Introduces Revolutionary CNC Lathe Chuck at IMTS 2024

Royal Products will be unveiling an innovative 3-Jaw Chuck, taking CNC lathe workholding to a new level. The Royal Multi-Tasking Chuck (MTC) is designed for shops that need the flexibility to quickly switch between small and large-diameter parts, as well as both O.D. and I.D. gripping.

This new 3-Jaw Chuck departs from conventional designs by incorporating both a Quick-Grip™ collet system and I.D. workholding system within a 3-jaw chuck, offering unmatched versatility. Once installed, the chuck never needs to be removed from the lathe spindle. Setup time between jobs is drastically reduced as the Royal MTC enables a user to quickly change between jaw work, collet work, and I.D. work.

Royal Products will stock the MTC in three sizes: 250mm, 320mm, and 400mm, accepting Royal QG-65, QG-80, and QG-100 collets. The MTC’s base jaws follow the 60 deg. x 1.5mm standard, enabling utilization of a wide range of top tooling.

All Royal Multi-Tasking Chucks include the appropriate mounting plate, an internal work-stop, a central chip shield, and a custom-machined drawtube connector for fast, hassle-free installation.
