When undertaking this particular project, the task involved utilizing spring metal material from round stock to produce X-shaped components through wire EDM. Initially, the operation was very slow, prompting the decision to explore an alternative wire for potential timing enhancement. Subsequently, through careful analysis, it was discerned that incorrect machine settings were the underlying issue. Steve then prompt adjustments to these settings which cut the time in half.
